New to Grow
Hi I'm Rachael and I am a Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience. I help teens, young adults, and adults of all ages work through stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and emotional challenges so they can gain clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of self. In addition to private practice, My experience includes both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings, as well as school based settings.
My goal is for clients to feel comfortable, validated, and supported in order to empower them to meet challenges. Whether you're navigating a recent change, managing chronic stress or anxiety, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, I'm here to support your growth. Together, we’ll build practical tools for emotional regulation, improve self-awareness, and help you move toward a more grounded and fulfilling life.
My therapy style is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I integrate a range of evidenced based modalities tailored to your unique needs- including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and Exposure and Response therapy (ERP) for OCD, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). My clients report that my therapy approach and methods have helped them heal trauma and gain meaningful support and lasting growth.
I provide individual and family therapy in a supportive, nonjudgmental, safe space. I specialize in working with adolescents, college students, and adults in order to navigate identity struggles, relationship issues, emotional regulation, life transitions, and trauma recovery.
I have been trained in ERP to help clients manage OCD. I help clients cope with uncertainty and teach individuals that they can face their fears and anxiety without using safety behaviors and compulsions which can lead to a more fuller present life.
I have also been fully trained in EMDR which is a modality I use to help clients process, release, and heal from past trauma. The goal is for clients to not have to carry emotional stress from the past and be able to lead a more present, grounded life.
I have used CBT throughout my career with all ages to help clients recognize the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I help clients to identify and reframe negative thoughts, as well as manage and regulate difficult emotions. I teach a variety of coping skills to manage life changes, depression, and anxiety disorders
