Hi, I’m Erica, and I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Florida, and I’ve always felt deeply connected to understanding people and the stories that shape them. My passion is creating a space where you feel seen, supported, and understood as you work through life’s challenges. I believe therapy is a place to make sense of your experiences, reconnect with your strengths, and build confidence in your ability to grow and heal. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in empathy. I focus on helping you explore your life at your own pace, while also supporting you in finding meaning and building resilience. Being a therapist, to me, means walking beside you—not leading, not pushing—just offering steady support as you move toward the life you want.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
During our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and begin building a foundation of trust. I’ll invite you to share what brings you to therapy, your background, and what you’d like to work toward. I’ll also explain how I practice, including confidentiality, safety, and what you can expect from me in our work together. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, heard, and at ease. This first meeting is really about understanding your story and setting the tone for a partnership where you feel safe, empowered, and supported.

With nearly a decade of experience in the healthcare field, I specialize in supporting individuals facing complex medical conditions, new diagnoses, or major health-related changes. I help clients process the emotional impact, build coping strategies, and find a sense of stability during uncertain times. I also enjoy working with healthcare workers and first responders as they navigate stress, burnout, career transitions, and the emotional weight of caring for others. My goal is to help you find balance, reconnect with yourself, and feel empowered as you care for both your life and your well-being.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In my practice I utilize CBT which is a structured, evidence-based approach. It focuses on the relationship between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. We will work on safely increasing your self-awareness of maladaptive thought patterns and re-work them in a way that better serves you. My goal is to help you navigate life with awareness, resilience, and confidence!
Motivational Interviewing
In my practice I use MI to create a safe and supportive environment for you to explore your readiness for change. I'm here to help you identify your motivation(s) and support you as you take steps toward your goals.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
In my practice I use SFBT to help you feel empowered to discover tangible solutions. I'm here to guide you in identifying strengths and developing practical steps towards change that fit into your lifestyle. My goal is to help you efficiently achieve your desired outcomes and goals.
