About me

I’m a bilingual Licensed Mental Health Counselor dedicated to helping individuals heal and grow through an integrative mind-body-soul approach. My work combines evidence-based modalities—such as CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy—with holistic practices like energy healing and guided meditation. I specialize in helping clients overcome trauma, anxiety, and depression while reconnecting with their inner strength and sense of purpose. My goal is to provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where healing becomes a journey of self-discovery, empowerment, and transformation.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my focus is on creating a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you can begin to share your story at your own pace. We’ll discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your goals, and identify the areas you’d like to focus on. I’ll also gather some background information to better understand your experiences and how they’ve shaped you. This session is collaborative and conversational—I’ll answer any questions you may have about the therapy process and explain how we can work together using a holistic, mind-body-soul approach. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the healing journey ahead.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths lie in my ability to integrate evidence-based therapies with holistic healing practices to address the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. I draw from approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing while incorporating grounding, breathwork, and energy-based techniques to promote balance and emotional regulation. I create a compassionate, collaborative space where clients feel supported in exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. My approach helps clients develop insight, build resilience, and make meaningful, lasting changes in their lives. I believe true healing happens when evidence-based strategies meet soulful self-awareness—allowing clients to reconnect with their inner strength and sense of purpose.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are individuals who are ready to embark on a journey of healing, self-discovery, and personal growth. I work best with those who may be struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, or life transitions and want to understand the deeper emotional and spiritual roots of their challenges. Many of my clients are seekers—open to exploring mindfulness, energy work, and holistic practices alongside traditional therapy. They are motivated to release old patterns, build emotional resilience, and create lasting change from the inside out. Together, we focus on restoring balance to the mind, body, and soul.

My treatment methods

Trauma-Focused CBT

I have experience utilizing Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support clients who have experienced trauma, including childhood abuse, neglect, domestic violence, and other forms of complex trauma. My approach integrates the structured components of TF-CBT—psychoeducation, relaxation skills, affect regulation, cognitive coping, trauma narrative processing, and enhancement of safety and future development—to help clients process and reframe traumatic experiences in a safe and supportive environment.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

In practice, I guide clients in developing mindfulness skills such as breath awareness, body scans, grounding exercises, and mindful observation of thoughts and emotions. These techniques help clients recognize automatic thought patterns, detach from unhelpful narratives, and respond to stressors with greater clarity and calm.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have extensive experience utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and modify unhelpful thought patterns, emotional responses, and behaviors that contribute to psychological distress. I use this evidence-based approach with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, and adjustment issues, tailoring interventions to each client’s unique needs and presenting concerns. In my practice, I guide clients through the process of increasing self-awareness of cognitive distortions, challenging maladaptive beliefs, and developing more balanced and adaptive thinking. I combine cognitive restructuring with behavioral interventions such as behavioral activation, exposure techniques, and coping skills training to help clients apply insights gained in therapy to real-life situations.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing (MI) as a collaborative and client-centered approach to enhance motivation and support clients in making meaningful behavioral changes. My experience with MI has been particularly effective with individuals who are ambivalent about change or struggling with issues such as substance use, depression, anxiety, and lifestyle adjustments. In my practice, I apply MI principles—expressing empathy, developing discrepancy, rolling with resistance, and supporting self-efficacy—to create a nonjudgmental and empowering therapeutic environment. I actively listen for clients’ change talk, reflect ambivalence with compassion, and help clients strengthen their own intrinsic motivation to pursue growth.

Psychoanalytic

I incorporate Psychoanalytic Therapy principles to help clients gain deeper insight into unconscious patterns, unresolved conflicts, and early life experiences that influence their current emotions and behaviors. My experience with this approach focuses on exploring the connection between past and present, particularly how early attachments and defense mechanisms shape relationships, self-perception, and emotional regulation.
