I have over 20 years of experience in listening carefully to clients and understanding their unique perspectives and creating a safe and supportive space for them to express themselves. I create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and encourage feedback from clients as to what will help them feel most at ease and build trust in me and in the process of therapy. As a compassionate and experienced clinician, I specialize in helping people navigate the complexities of anxiety, depression, chronic pain and grief. My therapy techniques are grounded in the latest neuroscience and nervous system regulation. My approach integrates Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy (EAET), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you unlearn pain and reconnect with yourself and others in a safe and more empowering way.

Therapy will improve your life if ... - You are able to build trust and rapport with me as your therapist: A strong therapeutic relationship is essential for effective treatment and I promote that by asking for your feedback. I want to know what your goals are for therapy. I will ask you what is working in our sessions but also what is NOT working for you in our sessions so you can get the results from therapy you need. --You are willing to actively participate in therapy: This includes completing homework assignments, practicing new skills, and attending regular sessions. - You are open to trying new ways of doing things: People who get better are willing to step outside of their comfort zone and explore different strategies for coping with their challenges. - You have a strong desire to heal and grow and are seeking long-term solutions and are committed to making lasting changes in your life.
