New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges with clarity, resilience, and hope. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and practical — blending evidence-based methods with compassion to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow. Whether you’re working through anxiety, relationship struggles, past wounds, or major life transitions, I’ll walk alongside you with encouragement and tools to help you build the life and relationships you want.
In our first session, my goal is to create a comfortable, judgment-free space where you feel heard and supported. We’ll spend time getting to know one another, discussing what brought you to therapy, and clarifying your goals for our work together. I’ll ask questions about your background, current challenges, and what you hope to change or strengthen in your life or relationships. You can also ask me questions to see if I’m the right fit for you. By the end of our first meeting, we’ll work together to set a direction that feels practical, encouraging, and tailored to your needs.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to combine practical tools with compassionate understanding. I bring a balance of structure and flexibility, helping clients not only process their emotions but also walk away with clear strategies they can use right away. Clients often tell me they feel both challenged and encouraged in our sessions — supported to face hard truths while knowing they’re not alone in the process. I also draw on a broad range of approaches, including Adlerian therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Adaptive Information Processing, and DBT skills, which allows me to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs. Grounded in my Christian faith but open-minded and respectful of all perspectives, I strive to meet clients where they are and help them move toward greater confidence, peace, and purpose.
My ideal clients are individuals, couples, or families who want a safe, supportive space to grow — especially those who value faith, family, and personal responsibility. As a conservative, Christian-based therapist, I integrate values of integrity, accountability, and purpose while remaining open-minded and non-judgmental. I enjoy working with people who are motivated to understand themselves better, strengthen their relationships, and make meaningful changes in their lives. I draw from influences like John Delony and Jordan Peterson, along with therapeutic models such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Adaptive Information Processing, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Whether you’re navigating anxiety, relationship struggles, or personal transitions, my approach combines practical tools with encouragement to help you heal, grow, and live with greater confidence and clarity.
I have extensive experience using Adlerian therapy, a strengths-based and goal-oriented approach that emphasizes meaning, belonging, and purposeful living. In my practice, I integrate Adlerian principles to help clients understand how early experiences, family dynamics, and core beliefs shape current patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving. I often use this method to explore a client’s lifestyle (their unique way of viewing themselves, others, and the world) and how mistaken beliefs can create barriers to healthy relationships, confidence, and growth. Through encouragement, collaborative dialogue, and practical strategies, I support clients in moving from self-doubt or discouragement toward greater agency, connection, and responsibility. In sessions, this may look like: Identifying patterns rooted in family of origin and early memories. Exploring a client’s need for belonging and significance in their relationships. Challenging unhelpful beliefs with encouragement and new perspectives. Focusing on strengths and cultivating practical steps toward goals. Adlerian therapy fits well with my style of working because it is relational, collaborative, and empowering — helping clients not only understand why they feel or act as they do, but also how to create purposeful change in their daily lives.
