New to Grow
I work with individuals who feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic stress, substance use concerns, or life transitions, and often come to therapy feeling disconnected from themselves, others, or their sense of hope. I also support children and adolescents who may be struggling with emotional regulation, behavioral challenges, trauma exposure, or difficulties related to family, school, or social relationships. My clients often arrive carrying a heavy emotional load, including unresolved trauma, fear, grief, shame, or self-doubt. Through a compassionate, trauma-informed, and integrative approach, I help them feel safe, seen, and understood while guiding them toward meaningful and lasting change. Therapy is collaborative and personalized, empowering clients to build insight, develop effective coping skills, and reconnect with their inner strength. The impact of my work is reflected in clients gaining emotional stability, increased self-awareness, and renewed confidence in their ability to manage life’s challenges. Many experience relief from trauma-related symptoms, improved relationships, healthier boundaries, and a stronger sense of purpose and hope. My goal is to help clients move from survival mode to a place of healing, growth, and resilience, learning to trust themselves and their capacity for change.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
One thing clients can expect from their first session is a warm, open, and welcoming environment. There is no pressure, no judgment, and no fear. The focus is simply on meeting you where you are and beginning there. This initial session is a space to share your story at your own pace, feel heard, and start building a therapeutic relationship rooted in safety, trust, and compassion. Together, we will gently explore what brought you to therapy and identify what feels most important for you moving forward.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
Therapy can be a whole vibe. It doesn’t have to feel stoic, intimidating, or overwhelming. It can be a collaborative space where you feel comfortable being yourself, showing up honestly, and working together toward growth and healing. Therapy is not about being “fixed,” but about partnership, understanding, and creating change in a way that feels authentic to you. And that's what I offer.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I do not believe in a “dream client.” I believe in meeting people exactly where they are. Each person comes into therapy with their own story, struggles, and strengths, and my role is to walk alongside them as they define what healing and growth look like for their lives. Therapy is a collaborative process rooted in compassion, safety, and respect for each individual’s pace and goals. Many of the individuals I work with are carrying emotional pain, trauma, anxiety, depression, or uncertainty about their next steps. Some feel overwhelmed, unheard, or lost in the darkness of life’s challenges. My priority is to ensure that every client feels truly seen, heard, and understood. From that foundation, we work together to build insight, develop coping skills, and create meaningful change aligned with what the client wants to achieve
Christian Counseling
For clients who desire faith-based counseling, I thoughtfully integrate Christian principles into the therapeutic process. This approach respects both clinical best practices and spiritual beliefs, allowing faith to serve as a source of strength, hope, and healing. Prayer, Scripture, and Christian values may be incorporated when appropriate and desired by the client, always in a way that supports emotional growth and psychological well-being.
EMDR
As an EMDR-trained therapist, I utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing to help clients safely process unresolved trauma and distressing life experiences that continue to impact their present functioning. EMDR allows the brain to reprocess painful memories in a way that reduces emotional intensity and promotes adaptive healing. I integrate EMDR with evidence-based modalities such as Trauma-Focused CBT, helping clients gain relief from symptoms while restoring a sense of control, safety, and emotional balance.

Mind-body approach
I utilize a holistic mind-body approach to therapy, recognizing the powerful connection between emotional experiences, physical sensations, and overall well-being. Trauma, stress, and chronic anxiety are often stored in the body, not just the mind. Through mindfulness-based techniques, grounding exercises, nervous system regulation, breathwork, and somatic awareness, clients learn how to safely reconnect with their bodies and reduce symptoms such as hypervigilance, panic, emotional overwhelm, and chronic tension.
