I utilize various techniques such as Strengths-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I believe in creating a safe, judgment-free space where you can show up as your authentic self, process emotions, and learn healthier ways to cope with life’s challenges. During our first session, you can expect a welcoming, judgment-free space where we’ll take time to get to know one another. I’ll ask questions to better understand your background, current challenges, and what brought you to therapy. Together, we’ll explore your goals, discuss what you’d like to gain from counseling, and begin identifying the areas you’d like to focus on most. This session is also your opportunity to ask questions, share any concerns, and get a feel for my approach and style. My goal is to make sure you feel heard, comfortable, and supported as we begin building a collaborative therapeutic relationship designed to help you grow and heal at your own pace.

In my therapeutic approach, I often incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress and problematic behaviors. Through CBT, I guide clients in developing healthier coping strategies, reframing negative thinking, and building practical skills that promote emotional regulation, confidence, and personal growth. My goal is to empower clients to become more aware of the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and actions, and to use that awareness to make meaningful, lasting change.
