I’m a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in supporting military members and their families; postpartum women, peripartum women, and women who are trying to become pregnant; and individuals navigating difficulties of every day life. My work integrates Strength Based approaches, Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you recognize your strengths, help change unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviors, and build a better relationship with yourself and your environment. I offer a warm, relaxed, and low key space where all parts of you are welcome.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will be an introductory session where we will talk about you. Together we will identify challenges and goals you have - short term and long term. Then we will identify options you can use to get there. We will talk about what you want to gain from working together and any questions or concerns you may have.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have been using CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) for 3 years in my practice. It has help dozens of individuals recognize their recurring thoughts and challenge negative self talk. We will use CBT to see how your thoughts, behaviors, and feelings interact with each other. I have used Strength Based Approach and Motivational Interviewing for the past 3 years in my practice. These approaches help recognize your internal and external strengths as well as your internal motivation to change. We will use these approaches to assist you in increasing your strengths, motivation to change, and foster personal growth, resilience, and well-being.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are adults who feel as though they have lost themselves through military life or postpartum life. Have you wondered or thought to yourself, “what do I do now”, “I miss who I was before”, or “how do I create time for myself?” Many individuals have spent time pushing through discomfort, making sacrifices, and are ready to slow down and reconnect with themselves.
