Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Marriage & Family Therapist, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and the Gottman Method into my practice to tailor treatment to the unique needs of individuals, couples, and families. Each approach serves a distinct purpose, and I often combine them strategically for the most effective outcomes. CBT is one of my primary approaches, especially for clients dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, and negative thinking patterns. My experience with CBT has shown me that many clients struggle with automatic negative thoughts (ANTs), which can shape their emotions and behaviors in ways they may not even recognize.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

SFBT is a go-to method in my practice when working with short-term therapy clients, high-functioning individuals, and families seeking immediate, practical solutions.
