I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who’s passionate about supporting people through the many stages and challenges of life. Since earning my B.A. in Psychology and Social Behavior from UC Irvine (2012) and my M.A. in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in MFT from Pepperdine University (2015), I’ve had the privilege of working with children, teens, adults, and families from all walks of life. I help clients navigate a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, stress, depression, mood and personality disorders, OCD, life adjustments, family conflict, divorce, self-esteem challenges, relationship issues, parenting and behavioral concerns, anger management, women’s issues, major life transitions, and LGBTQ+ topics. My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in genuine empathy. I believe therapy works best when you feel seen, supported, and empowered. Together, we’ll build on your strengths, explore patterns with compassion, and create practical steps toward the life you want. With the right support, I believe everyone has the capacity to grow, heal, and live more authentically.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a strong foundation for our work together. This is where I learn more about you, your background, what’s been weighing on you, and what led you to seek support right now. I’ll ask questions about your history and current concerns, and we will always move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Throughout the session, my focus is on creating a safe, supportive space where you can speak openly and feel truly heard. We will focus on your strengths as well as the challenges you’re facing so I can better understand how to support you. As we wrap up, we’ll begin shaping some initial goals for therapy and talk about what you hope to gain from our time together. We’ll also cover practical details, like scheduling and what the process typically looks like, so you leave feeling informed, grounded, and confident about the next steps.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My specialties are autism, developmental disorders, ADHD, and anxiety. My biggest strength
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal client is someone who is open to the therapeutic process and willing to take an active role in their growth. They are ready to be vulnerable by sharing their thoughts, feelings, and experiences, even when it's uncomfortable, because they understand that healing often begins with openness. They are engaged in the work we do together, both in and outside of sessions, including thoughtfully participating in homework assignments that support their progress. I value when clients give feedback so that we can collaboratively adjust our approach as needed. Therapy a partnership, and I appreciate when clients are honest, communicative, and committed to creating meaningful change in their lives.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I take an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from a variety of evidence-based modalities to best meet each client’s unique needs. My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on helping individuals recognize and reframe unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress and problematic behaviors. By integrating CBT with other therapeutic techniques, I aim to foster insight, build coping skills, and support meaningful, lasting change.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
With Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, I work on emphasizing strengths, resources, and achievable goals. Rather than dwelling on problems, I assist clients with identifying what’s working and build on those successes to create positive change. By combining this forward-thinking, goal-oriented method with other therapeutic tools, I aim to empower clients to make meaningful progress in a focused and time-effective manner.
