I work with women who feel anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves. My approach is direct and accountability-focused, always grounded in empathy. I help clients manage stress, codependency, and anxiety by helping them regulate emotions, learn coping skills, process fears, and navigate challenges with clarity and confidence. Together, we address patterns of overextending or self-abandoning, build healthier boundaries, and strengthen lasting self-worth. My goal is to create a safe yet challenging space where they feel supported and motivated to grow. I combine deep empathy with straightforward guidance to help them take ownership, break old patterns, and become the authentic, grounded version of themselves. I'm a bilingual, licensed therapist in the State of Florida. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and moved to Miami, FL to pursue a career in mental health counseling. Throughout my career, I have found that I work and connect well with adult and young adult women that want to overcome codependency, heal the loss of a relationship or marriage, improve their self-esteem and manage learn how to effectively manage stress and anxiety. While those are my main specialties, I also support clients that are struggling with and need help managing depression, life transitions, and grief.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy, what challenges you have been facing, and what goals you are hoping to accomplish. This will allow me to understand how I can best help you achieve those goals and create an individualized treatment plan. I will also take a few minutes during this session to address any questions or concerns you may have about the process or about my approach.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My main goal is to make you feel understood, safe, and most importantly, in control of your process. I believe we all have the ability to overcome challenges and I am committed to helping you realize your capability to do so. Some of the qualities that I bring into my work and that help me accomplish this goal are empathy, authenticity, patience, and compassion, while also being straightforward and based on accountability.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is a woman who feels constantly on edge—juggling responsibilities, meeting everyone’s expectations, and rarely feeling at ease. She’s exhausted from holding it all together and wants practical ways to manage stress, calm her mind, and feel in control again. Sometimes that stress shows up as anxiety, burnout, or losing herself in relationships. She’s ready to create balance, set boundaries, and build confidence rooted in self-respect rather than pressure or guilt. She’s not looking for quick fixes—she wants real tools, steady accountability, and lasting change.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

This approach focuses on examining the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. CBT involves working together to help you understand your thoughts, identifying your thought patterns, challenging and reframing certain thoughts, modifying behaviors, and utilizing techniques (i.e., thought records, setting behavioral goals, or relaxation exercises). The goal is to understand and modify thinking patterns and behaviors to improve your overall wellbeing.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

This approach combines mindfulness and acceptance strategies with commitment and behavior change techniques. It focuses on building psychological flexibility, which is the ability to adapt and respond effectively to life's challenges while staying connected to what matters most to you.

Attachment-based

This approach can be used to explore experiences, particularly your early relationship with your primary caregivers, and understand how these might be impacting your life now. By addressing any unresolved feelings or attachment issues, you can work towards building healthier, more secure relationships. It’s especially useful for people who struggle with trust, intimacy, or who have a history of difficult relationships.
