LCSW, 20 years of experience
Hi, I'm Amanda, I'm a Hispanic Mexican American, culturally sensitive psychotherapist. I am known for my warm, caring, family-oriented personality. With more than 25 years of experience working with children, pre-teens, teens, adults and seniors. I've worked in children community mental health, crisis intervention and substance abuse treatment. I'm experienced with anxiety, depression, anger management, trauma, behavioral issues, relationship issues, adoption, womens issues and life transitions.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help us create a tailored treatment plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
I feel that my biggest strengths are the ability to be nonjudgmental and help others gain insight into their worries and struggles in order for them to reach attainable goals and experience self-growth.
My areas of expertise include: Anger Management, Stress Management, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Substance Abuse, Addiction, Grief and Loss, Relationship Issues, Adoptions, Womens Issues and Life Transitions. I enjoy working with teens, adults and seniors who are struggling with feeling overwhelmed and anxious about life situations.

Very nice lady. Not pro active and multitasking while in a session. She didn’t seem to be engaged in the session. I felt like was a thought process not a patient.
