Deanette James specializes in providing mental health medication management to patients in need. She does not provide therapy-only sessions. Do you feel like no one understands you, as if every day is a struggle, like you're always there for everyone, but nobody's really there for you? Do you feel misunderstood, misbelieved, misjudged, at your wits end, and don't know what to do or who to turn to? Are you fighting to find the energy to keep going? If you want someone who will listen to and empathize with you, who will help guide you towards meeting your emotional and mental health goals then you have come to the right place. She has expertise in treating a wide range of mental and emotional health disorders including mood disorders, anxiety, depression, ADHD, psychotic disorders, and PTSD among others. Her experience comes from working in various settings such as inpatient psychiatric unit, PHP/IOP/Substance Use Disorder treatment, and outpatient psychiatric clinic. She has been a nurse for 18 years and worked in every specialty, but psychiatry has been her niche since caring for behavioral health patients during nursing school. Elamax Mental Health Services PLLC was created by her, to assist in improving the mental health and overall well-being of patients struggling with mental and emotional distress. PLEASE SCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT 2-3 DAYS IN ADVANCE TO FACILITATE COMPLETION OF THE INTAKE PACKAGE AND PREVENT RESCHEDULING. THANK YOU!
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
During our first session we will do our introductions and then discuss what has been happening with your mental health and when it started. Using this information, we will design a plan tailored specifically to meet your needs, based on your goals.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
Anxiety and depression are two extremely debilitating conditions. They may not seem like it, but one or both of these conditions can determine whether or not you have a fulfilling life. One of the greatest gifts I can receive is seeing my patients progress from feeling like they can't go on another day to being happy, smiling, making plans, and even mentoring others to take steps toward treatment. I believe patients should play active roles in their treatment and progress and not just do what I say, but make suggestions and let me know what works best.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I love working with women who are striving in their careers, or life in general , but are dealing with mental health illnesses which weigh them down and causes a decrease in daily functions whether socially, at home, or at work.
Supportive
I am supportive of my patients and use an empathetic approach to provide the best possible care.
