My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to reframe unhelpful thought patterns that may get in the way of healthier emotions and more optimal decisions for your overall wellbeing. CBT is also a great method of reducing the fear of the unknown and persistent worries. Furthermore, I have assisted individuals with depressive symptoms and individuals with negative belief systems with this approach.

Strength-Based

I use a strength based approach to build on your own resiliency while developing new strategies to address difficult life transitions and stressful events. We can partner to identify and build on your own strengths to increase your belief in yourself and your own ability to face life challenges. My goal is to empower you with your own resources along with supporting you in trying new healthy strategies.

Christian Counseling

I believe that drawing from our own faith can be a source of strength that can promote healing. This can be healing from trauma, family discord, grief, loss of relationships, or a life transition. I am able to support individuals in using their own faith and belief system to assist in processing difficult life events and personal challenges.
