I am a LCSW who has ten years of diverse social work experience. I graduated from California State University Sacramento with my Master's of Social Work. I genuinely enjoy getting to know new individuals to learn of their strengths and life challenges so that I can support them in improving their overall well-being. I particularly enjoy promoting the mental health of adults who are adjusting to life transitions, experiencing anxiety symptoms, coping with depression, and/or managing loss. I work collaboratively with clients by processing their experiences and by increasing coping strategies that makes life's challenges more manageable.
In our first session together, we will introduce ourselves and allow for discussion of life challenges that you have identified as priorities to address in therapy . We will work collaboratively to create an action plan for future sessions.
I am genuinely interested in helping you identify your strengths and your own resiliency while I partner with you in providing strategies and tools to improve your mental health.
I enjoy working with adults who are interested in enhancing their ability to improve their mental health in a collaborative approach of strength based and solution focused strategies. I have had success in providing a person centered and holistic approach to enhance wellbeing.

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to reframe unhelpful thought patterns that may get in the way of healthier emotions and more optimal decisions for your overall wellbeing. CBT is also a great method of reducing the fear of the unknown and persistent worries. Furthermore, I have assisted individuals with depressive symptoms and individuals with negative belief systems with this approach.
I use a strength based approach to build on your own resiliency while developing new strategies to address difficult life transitions and stressful events. We can partner to identify and build on your own strengths to increase your belief in yourself and your own ability to face life challenges. My goal is to empower you with your own resources along with supporting you in trying new healthy strategies.
I believe that drawing from our own faith can be a source of strength that can promote healing. This can be healing from trauma, family discord, grief, loss of relationships, or a life transition. I am able to support individuals in using their own faith and belief system to assist in processing difficult life events and personal challenges.
