(she/her)
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years of experience with anxiety, depression, trauma, difficulty making decisions, body images, weight loss and emotional eating, life transitions and family conflicts. If you need a collaborative partner who will help you navigating life challenges, improving your mental health and personal growth, I am the right mental health therapist for you. My mission is to walk by your side while you go from your current challenges to your desired goal of personal and professional fulfillment.
Your initial 60-minute session will be used to create a collaborative space where you feel heard, to explore your mental health, family, social, educational or vocational backgrounds. This will provide a foundation for our therapeutic journey. We will also discuss your current struggles, short and long term therapeutic goals.
My greatest strengths are my ability to build trust, to provide insights, to create a safe space and to provide accountability to create positive changes.
Do you ever feel like life has become overwhelming, and you’re not sure how to find your way through? I help adults to rediscover strength, resilience, and balance. So many people carry burdens silently—anxiety that keeps them up at night, sadness that never seems to lift, self-doubt that affects relationships. If that sounds familiar, I want you to know that you don’t have to do it alone. Therapy can provide the safe, supportive environment you or your family need to heal and grow.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Therapy is not only about solving problems—it’s about transformation. My clients often describe entering therapy feeling weighed down, but leaving with a sense of hope and clarity. Together, we work toward: Developing self-love and self-acceptance Building self-awareness and understanding emotional triggers Learning tools to create emotional balance and reduce overwhelm Restoring connection within families and improving communication Cultivating resilience and hope for the future Understanding the mental, physical, and emotional barriers to reduce emotional eating and obesity My mission is to help you to feel empowered to write a new chapter in their life, one that feels meaningful, hopeful, and grounded in strength. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy helps individuals to identify and change negative thoughts and feelings, which will improve their overall moods and behaviors.
