About me

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s challenges. I specialize in helping adults and couples navigate anxiety, stress, relationship issues, and emotional overwhelm. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you feel heard and empowered to make meaningful changes. Together, we’ll uncover your strengths, work through obstacles, and move toward greater clarity, confidence, and connection.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is all about you, your story, your goals, and what brings you to therapy. I'll take time to get to know you in a relaxed, judgment-free space. I’ll ask questions to better understand your background, current challenges, and what you hope to gain from our work together. There's no pressure to have all the answers. This is a space for you to feel safe, seen, and supported. Together, we’ll begin to identify what’s working, what’s not, and start laying the foundation for the healing and change you’re looking for. My goal is for you to leave that first session feeling heard, understood, and confident about our path forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What sets my approach apart is the balance I bring between clinical expertise and genuine human connection. With over a decade of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor, I’ve worked with clients across a range of settings, from private practice to community mental health to hospital-based care, helping individuals and couples navigate everything from daily stress to deep emotional wounds. My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I blend proven methods, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy, with real-world insight, always tailoring the work to meet your specific needs and goals. I don’t just listen, I help you make sense of what you're feeling and guide you toward real, lasting change. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, burnout, relationship challenges, or simply trying to reconnect with yourself, I offer a grounded and culturally-aware space where you can heal, grow, and thrive.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I understand what it feels like to show up strong for everyone else while quietly struggling to hold yourself together. If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck in cycles that no longer serve you, or simply tired of carrying it all alone, you’re in the right place. My clients are often caregivers, professionals, or high achievers who’ve been doing the “inner work” but still feel like something is missing. You value growth, crave clarity, and want a therapist who can hold space for both your healing and your accountability. I bring compassion, cultural understanding, and real-life experience into the therapy room. I see you, not just your symptoms or stress, but the whole you. We’ll work together to quiet the noise, reconnect with your truth, and help you show up as your most grounded and authentic self. This is your space to heal, grow, and breathe again — and I’m honored to walk with you through it.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In our work together, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you explore the connections between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We'll work on identifying unhelpful thinking patterns and develop practical strategies to challenge and change them. This approach empowers you to take control of your mindset and build healthier responses to life’s challenges.

Humanistic

In my practice, I take a holistic and compassionate approach rooted in humanistic principles. I view you as a whole person—not just a diagnosis or a set of symptoms. We'll focus on personal meaning, self-discovery, and authentic growth, with the understanding that you already possess the inner resources to move forward in life.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I believe that you are the expert on your own life. In our sessions, I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, supported, and accepted just as you are. Using a person-centered approach, I’ll walk alongside you as you gain deeper self-awareness and tap into your own strengths to move toward healing and personal growth.
