I started in the medical field began at 19-years-old as a medical assistant. I soon moved into a medical scribe role, gaining valuable insights into patient care and healthcare systems. I then became a registered nurse in order to further deepen my clinical expertise before finally becoming a PMHNP-BC. My main focus is now medication management to help with mental health concerns.
In the first session, you can expect a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you are encouraged to speak freely and feel truly heard. I understand that opening up to someone new about deeply personal concerns can feel intimidating. My goal is to ease that discomfort by creating a supportive environment where you feel safe, understood, and empowered. By the end of our first meeting, I hope you leave feeling more hopeful, validated, and confident that you've taken a meaningful step toward healing.
Some of my greatest strengths as a provider is creating a space where patients feel genuinely comfortable and heard. I strive to build trust through active listening and empathy, so each person I work with feels seen, respected, and understood. I also take pride in being thorough—ensuring that no concern goes unaddressed and that each patient leaves feeling like their time was truly valued and well spent. My goal is for patients to feel confident that their care is comprehensive, thoughtful, and worth every effort they've made to seek help.
I’m best positioned to support individuals ages 13+ who may be struggling with ongoing mental health challenges but are generally in a place of relative mental stability. These are patients who are seeking additional support through collaborative medication management to improve overall well-being. I work well with those who are motivated to engage in their care and are looking for a provider who will take the time to listen, educate, and tailor treatment to their unique needs.
I focus on psychoeducation, meaning I can help you understand what you're going through, why it’s happening, and what we can do about it. My goal is to make mental health feel less overwhelming by giving you clear, helpful info so you feel more confident and supported in your care.
