LCSW, 5 years of experience
New to Grow
As your therapist, my goal is to walk alongside you as you heal, grow, and create the life you want. I believe our past experiences shape how we see the world, but sometimes the coping strategies that once protected us can hold us back today. In therapy, you don’t have to carry those burdens alone — together, we’ll discover new ways of thinking, being, and living that support who you are now. Over the past several years, I’ve had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, teens, adults, veterans, healthcare workers, and trauma survivors. No matter where you are in life, my priority is to create a safe space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. My approach is trauma-informed and integrates methods such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I tailor every session to your unique needs, helping you move from surviving to truly thriving.
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and creating a safe, supportive space for you to share what feels most important right now. I’ll ask questions about your goals, history, and what you’d like to get out of therapy, but there’s no pressure — you can share at your own pace. Together, we’ll start building a plan that feels comfortable and tailored to you, so you leave with a sense of direction and hope for what’s ahead.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel comfortable being themselves. I’m outgoing and open-minded, which helps me connect easily and meet people where they are. I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide variety of populations, and I love helping each client feel seen, understood, and empowered.
I’m best positioned to work with clients who feel weighed down by anxiety, past trauma, or self-doubt and are ready to make meaningful changes in their lives. My dream clients are often motivated and self-aware — they’ve tried to cope on their own but recognize that having support can help them move forward. They may struggle with overwhelming emotions, relationship challenges, or patterns that no longer serve them, and they want tools to feel more grounded and in control. Therapy with me is for people who are ready to heal from old wounds, challenge negative beliefs, and create healthier ways of living and connecting. My clients value having a safe, nonjudgmental space where they can be honest and supported as they work toward goals like reducing anxiety, building confidence, improving relationships, and finding balance in daily life. Together, we focus not just on managing symptoms but on creating lasting change and helping you feel empowered in who you are.
EMDR is a powerful approach to healing from painful or overwhelming experiences. I’ve been using it for over 4 years, and I offer it virtually so you can do this work in a safe, comfortable space that’s accessible to you.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps you recognize unhelpful patterns in your thoughts and behaviors and replace them with healthier ones. I’ve been using CBT for several years to support clients in managing anxiety, depression, and everyday stress, and it works well both in person and through Telehealth.
Attachment-based therapy focuses on how our early relationships shape the way we connect with ourselves and others today. I use this approach to help clients build healthier, more secure connections, whether that’s improving self-esteem, strengthening relationships, or healing from past wounds. It’s a supportive and collaborative process that can be done just as effectively through Telehealth.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a skills-based approach that helps you manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and cope with stress in healthier ways. I integrate DBT into sessions to give clients practical tools they can use right away, whether we’re working on mindfulness, communication, or emotion regulation. These strategies translate well into telehealth, making them accessible and easy to practice in your daily life.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) helps you understand the different “parts” of yourself — like the parts that feel anxious, critical, or protective — and work with them in a compassionate way. This approach supports healing by helping you feel more balanced, connected, and at peace within yourself. IFS works beautifully in Telehealth, allowing us to explore and strengthen your inner system in a safe, supportive space.
