First session

In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions, then discuss some of the challenges that you are facing. This will help me create an individualized treatment plan for us to work through in the following sessions.

Strengths

Having worked with adults of many different ages, cultures, and ethnicities for the past 12 years, I have developed a cultural competence practice. Through cultural competence I can effectively interact with clients across different cultures, developing strategies that serve each individual needs. I help clients develop insight self-awareness, and motivation to embrace their most authentic self.

Ideal clients

I am passionate to work with adults who are feeling overwhelmed and stuck with life challenges. Clients that do not have the coping skills and strategies to help them move forward with accomplishing their life goals.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have helped numerous clients in the past 5 years through CBT to understand the connection between thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and the impact it has on mental health. Through evidence-based techniques, we will develop a plan to help you navigate challenging thought patterns, which can help you reach your goals, regulate your emotions, and take an active role in your healing journey.

Grief Therapy

Certified grief educator. I have helped clients for several years navigate grief through compassion and understanding. I believe that grief is a deeply personal journey, and I strive to create a safe space where individuals can express their feelings without judgment. I utilize a combination of evidence-based practices, and interactive activities to help clients explore their grief and develop coping strategies.
