Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. I know how difficult it can be to take that first step in seeking support, and I want to truly honor you for getting to this point. It takes strength and courage to reach out, and I’m here to support you in a way that meets you where you are, helping you build the tools and confidence to navigate whatever you're facing. I specialize in helping individuals navigate a variety of challenges, including childhood trauma, complex PTSD, eating disorders, body image issues, ADHD, body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs), and social anxiety. Whether you're trying to cope with panic attacks, seasonal affective disorder, burnout, or the lasting impact of post-pandemic stress, I’m here to support you in finding clarity, healing, and practical strategies for moving forward. I also work with clients who are struggling with parenting stress, attachment issues, and balancing work and life demands. My approach is holistic and integrative, meaning I use a mix of therapeutic techniques tailored specifically to your needs. We’ll work together to create a path forward that supports your well-being and helps you feel more grounded. I’m deeply committed to providing LGBTQ+ Affirmative Care and creating an inclusive, welcoming space for BIPOC individuals and those with neurodivergent experiences. Above all, my priority is to ensure you feel truly understood and supported in a non-judgmental, empathetic environment where you can be your authentic self. No matter what you’re facing, you don’t have to navigate it on your own. I’m here to walk alongside you as we work together to build the strength and coping skills that fit your journey, at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
In our first session, we’ll begin with some introductions and then dive into the challenges you’re currently facing. This will allow me to better understand your needs and create a personalized plan to guide our work together. You’ll also have the chance to ask me about my approach and the methods I use to ensure they align with what feels right for you. Most importantly, it’s a chance for both of us to see if we’re a good fit!
I bring a warm and empathetic approach to my work with clients. Having been through therapy myself, I understand how challenging it can be to start and stay committed to the process. While each person’s journey is different, I can relate to the courage it takes to take those first steps. In our sessions, we may share some laughs, but I’m also here for the days that feel the hardest.
I have over six years of experience working primarily with children, adolescents, and young adults (18-30 years). However, I am committed to working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. I strive to create a safe, supportive space for everyone and proudly affirm all genders, sexualities, and identities.
I have received my TF-CBTWeb2.0 Certificate of Completion in 2022. I utilize this treatment method primarily with children and adolescents. This method consists of components such as psychoeducation regarding trauma and its impacts, parenting skills, relaxation and cognitive coping, affect identification/regulation, trauma narration, and enhancement of safety. I am also currently a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).
I have been utilizing this method throughout my professional career. I apply this method through talk therapy to help manage symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, and eating disorders. I also utilize this modality to address everyday challenges such as adjusting to new life situations, ongoing stress, and relationship issues. CBT is useful in helping those change unhelpful ways of thinking and behaving.
DBT is another form of talk therapy that is based on the approaches of CBT. As CBT helps change the way you think and behave, DBT does the same, but also has a focus on accepting yourself for who you are. There are four components to DBT which includes: mindfulness techniques, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and emotion regulation. DBT is well known for its effectiveness in helping those who may experience suicidal/self-harming behaviors, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders to name a few.
I am currently in the process of obtaining my Registered Play Therapy (RPT) credential. Because children struggle to communicate their feelings verbally or even understand them, play is a child's best form of communication. Children are able to express their emotions, resolve their own problems, and develop self-efficacy to better understand their strengths. Play therapy can also be used with older children or adults with cognitive impairments.
I am currently a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). I am in the process of completing my second training. I am familiar with prominent clinical assessment tools and instruments, neurobiology of complex trauma including development, relaxation techniques, self-regulation, exposure, and narrative in trauma treatment. I also have a focus in treating childhood trauma.

I felt that she really understood me and she was caring and sweet. I also loved that she checked in with me periodically to make sure I was okay during the questionnaire
