New to Grow
Hi, I’m Quinn Walker, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s degree from Wayne State University. My background includes both crisis intervention and ongoing outpatient therapy, allowing me to support clients through a wide range of emotional and life challenges. I’m deeply passionate about helping people feel heard, validated, and empowered as they navigate their healing journey. I view therapy as a collaborative process and am committed to walking alongside you with empathy and understanding every step of the way.
Our first session is a time to begin getting to know one another and setting the stage for meaningful work together. We’ll discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your goals and hopes for the process, and talk through any questions or concerns you may have. My goal is to ensure you feel safe, respected, and understood as we start building a trusting relationship. I’ll explain my therapeutic approach, and we’ll work together to identify what support feels most helpful for you moving forward.
My greatest strengths lie in my ability to create a warm, open, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel genuinely supported and understood. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based approaches, tailoring each session to meet your unique needs. I focus on helping you identify thought patterns, behaviors, and emotional responses that may be keeping you stuck, while offering tools to foster growth and resilience. Clients often tell me they appreciate my calm presence, compassion, and ability to make therapy feel like a safe space for real and lasting change.
I work with individuals who are ready to explore their emotions, relationships, and personal growth in a safe and supportive environment. My ideal clients may be navigating anxiety, life transitions, stress, or challenges with self-esteem and identity. They are open to reflection and personal insight, even if they’re unsure where to start. I especially enjoy working with those who value authenticity, curiosity, and collaboration in the therapeutic process, as together we can build a foundation for lasting change and emotional well-being.
I most often utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you explore thoughts, behaviors, and patterns that may be holding you back. My focus is always on building a trusting relationship where you feel supported and understood.
