Hi! I'm an LPCC in CA and an LMHC in NY, currently living in Los Angeles. I work with teens through adults, and am very eclectic in my approach, mixing mindfulness, breathwork, meditation, somatic work, CBT, trauma work, emotionally-focused, solution-focused and IFS. I was an opera singer, am very comfortable working with all kinds of performers, and also teach yoga. Would love to meet you! How can clients contact my intake team? In our first session together, here's what you can expect
During your intake appointment, I'll ask about why you're seeking treatment, what your concerns are, get to know more about your history, and talk about the different approaches I use.
The treatment methods and tools I utilize
My most common methods and approaches are mindfulness/meditation, breathwork, somatic work, CBT, trauma-based (which can include all of the latter), Internal Family Systems, emotionally-focused, narrative and solution-focused. I also sometimes use different branches of Applied Kinesiology in my practice, such as Touch for Health, Brain Gym and Educational Kinesiology.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
Having been a teacher of adolescents and young adults for years (I also teach college acting students at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts), I'm extremely comfortable working with this population. Although I'm not LGBTQ+, I have a good deal of experience working with them. I've done a few trauma certifications, have led a variety of groups at a mental health association in NY, have worked with couples, lots of performers, and have even done some yoga exercises with clients on occasion. I'm fluent in German, and have had some German-speaking clients.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I focus on a wide range of clients, and am open to everything!
