I am a dual board-certified family and psychiatric nurse practitioner, and I am dedicated to providing high-quality care to adults aged 18-64 who are struggling with mental health challenges. Mental health struggles can feel overwhelming, isolating, and exhausting. Whether you are facing anxiety that makes it difficult to function, mood swings that disrupt your day-to-day life, or the lingering effects of past trauma, I want you to know that you don’t have to navigate these challenges alone. Together, we can create a treatment plan tailored to your needs and goals. If you're ready to take the first step, I am here to help.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session will be an initial psychiatric evaluation which is a longer appointment (45 minutes to 1 hour) involving a detailed review of your medical, psychological, and lifestyle history, along with a mental status exam and family history. You’ll discuss your concerns openly, and the I will get a better understanding on how your symptoms affect daily life. A collaborative treatment plan is then developed, potentially including medication, therapy, lifestyle changes, or further evaluation tailored to your needs. While a diagnosis is given by the first session, it could take multiple sessions depending on the client. Ongoing care involves shorter follow-up visits and a confidential therapeutic relationship.
