My name is Stevie, and I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with certification in Dialectical behavior therapy. I have a Master’s of Science degree in Clinical Mental Counseling, undergrad education in behavioral neuroscience, and work as a professional artist. If you’re looking for a unique and creative approach that balances science-backed research with humanity, you’ve come to the right place!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The goal of the first 1-3 sessions is information gathering. In general, I’ll be exploring why you’ve come to therapy, and any contextual information that will help me better understand you and what you are experiencing holistically. Expect LOTS of questions, and please know it’s okay to not know all of the answers.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I offer a plethora of mental health knowledge as a huge Psychology nerd, a creative perspective, and a down to Earth sense of humor about the absurdity of being alive. More importantly, I have a lifetime of experience of being impacted by mental health both personally and through others. I’ve been there, and I get it.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My approach is eclectic and combines pragmatic realism, existential philosophy, and clinical theories on mental health and its treatment. CBT, DBT, and Jungian ideology will be laced throughout. I am versed in personality disorders, mood disorders ranging from depression to bipolar, and a multitude of life adjustments. I am personally part of the LGBTQ and neurodivergence community; but I can guarantee that anyone and everyone will feel welcome.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I have specific certification training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I am able to apply it traditionally and as part of an eclectic person-centered approach. I have found that most clients prefer a more varied treatment experience.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is the bread and butter of counseling, and one of the most widely researched therapy techniques that has proven effective for myriad conditions. I learned CBT through formal education and direct internship experience

I’ve had a lot of challenges going on in my life. I know that I have complicated mental health challenges but I really love that Stevie still sees me as someone worth helping and gives me a safe place to talk about hard things.
