If you're struggling with stressors, attempting to heal from past traumas, facing anxiety in certain areas of life, or are feeling down I can help you navigate these difficulties. I specialize in anxiety and trauma as well as female and maternal mental health. I have a very person centered approach; meaning that I try to understand fully what brings you in and where you are coming from. Once we have a solid foundation of understanding I assist in evaluating beliefs and processes that keep people stuck, I provide practical skills for relief, and break down barriers to creating and maintaining new habits. I know it can feel overwhelming as you decide who to trust with these needs, your comfort, safety and needs are my main concern. I'll meet you where you are to build a trusting relationship with you and once that is in place you will have a solid foundation for then trusting the process.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first session is the chance for me to inquire further into what is going on for you and get some background information that helps me to know where you are coming from. At the end of session we'll collaborate on goals and a game plan for our future sessions which will look much more organic.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My strength as a provider is my ability to assist people in digging deeper into their processes so that they fully understand their own experiences and can provide themselves with exactly what they need.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Understanding and increasing your internal dialogue can have a significant impact on your ability to improve symptoms.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

I'm a certified trauma professional and this approach incorporates components of education, compassion and skills to address the effects that trauma has had on you.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

As a Caucasian I regularly participate in multicultural educational practices to ensure I'm being sensitive to those that have had different experiences than myself. I seek to understand without judgement, while utilizing that understanding in assisting you.

Mind-body approach

Attunement to our internal processes and how they impact our body can be incredibly impacting. I used this approach to create awareness and improve distress.
