I am dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing space where we can explore your truth and navigate through any emotional barriers that may be hindering your growth. My goal is to support you in processing traumatic experiences and uncovering your authentic self. Utilizing modalities such as Mindfulness, Solution-Focused therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I tailor my approach to suit your specific needs. My background includes extensive experience working with individuals and families dealing with depression, grief, trauma, and adjustment issues. Additionally, I have worked closely with individuals on the Autism Spectrum, helping them develop social skills, as well as supporting parents of children with special needs in both school and private settings. Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our initial session, I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable opening up about your personal history and experiences. It's important for me to understand where you're coming from and what has shaped your journey thus far. This allows me to tailor our sessions to best support you. I also want to hear about your therapy goals. What are the areas in your life that you're hoping to improve or address? Whether it's managing emotions, navigating relationships, coping with past traumas, or achieving personal growth, your goals are essential for our work together. By understanding what you hope to achieve, I can better guide our sessions and provide strategies to help you reach those goals. This is your journey, and I'm here to support you every step of the way.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My passion lies in supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, particularly those who have endured emotional, physical, or sexual abuse. I am deeply committed to providing a safe and validating space where survivors can process their experiences, heal from their wounds, and reclaim their sense of self-worth and agency. My experiences as a former school counselor and special education teacher have cultivated within me a deep sense of empathy and compassion. I am particularly drawn to working with clients who are navigating the challenges of Autism Spectrum Disorder and teenagers who are facing difficulties in their daily lives. My background in special education has equipped me with a unique understanding of the needs and perspectives of individuals on the Autism Spectrum. I am committed to providing a supportive and understanding environment where these clients can feel heard and empowered to navigate the complexities of their experiences.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work well with clients age 12 and up, who have experienced childhood trauma, sexual abuse, physical abuse, anxiety, and depression. I also have experience with working with clients on the Autism Spectrum (ASD)

She is very understanding, very knowledgable, and cares so much about making sure that you are getting the best healing journey possible.
