Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 10 years experience. I am currently licensed in Pennsylvania and I work to foster a healthy therapeutic relationship by offering a nonjudgmental, space to be open about feelings and needs. I work to offer unconditional positive regard while helping you identify and build upon your strengths. I view therapy as a collaborative effort between the therapist and client, in which we partner together to focus on needs, support, processing, and development of needed skills.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session we will work to begin to develop rapport. I will work to learn more about you and your needs and struggles so I am able to make an individualized plan for your therapy.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have over 10 years experience and during that time have worked with every type of therapeutic need. I have an approach which focuses on meeting the needs of the individual and helps foster healthy change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I like working with individuals who want to make healthy changes, are willing to do the work, and who may just need the tools and support to make the changes.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is a common form of talk therapy I have been using for years to help change negative and distorted thinking into healthy reality based thinking.

EMDR

I am trained in EMDR and have used it many times to help with overcoming severe anxiety and trauma. EMDR can help alleviate the impact of PTSD.

Reality Therapy

I have used Reality Therapy for over 10 years. Reality Therapy is a form of CBT but focuses more on the present instead of the past. We work on helping with feeling loved and accepted.

Eclectic

I tend to use whatever approach fits the client and the client's need.
