I am a licensed psychotherapist. I believe that therapy can assist people in achieving a life worth living; an authentic life with increased self-worth, self-efficacy, awareness, and gratitude. My passion is to help others heal so that they can thrive. I have provided therapy to adolescent and adult clients in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient treatment programs, and community centers. I have experience helping people who are encountering anxiety, depression, anger, grief/bereavement, anticipatory grief/terminal illness, substance use, and traumas related to sexual assault and intimate partner violence.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I facility therapy from a strength-based and relationship-centered approach. During our first session, we will discuss your intentions and identify goals in therapy. I'll do my best to assist you in achieving your goals by creating realistic objectives, identifying positive coping mechanisms, processing emotions and events, and providing emotional support.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As an LCSW, I am versed in many evidence-based practice modalities. I am client-centered; I will meet you where you’re at, utilizing the theoretical approach I feel you’ll best respond to achieve your goals. I may alter theoretical orientations as therapy is a fluid process, and clients have varying needs. I often provide psychodynamic therapy, narrative therapy, systemic therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I have experience working with diverse populations encountering a variety of issues and concerns. I offer individual and family counseling.
