Hello! I'm a licensed professional counselor, and I work with adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, anger, relationship concerns, life transitions, self worth issues, and difficulty managing emotions. My approach is collaborative, practical, and respectful. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can speak honestly, feel understood, and also be challenged in a helpful way. I draw from CBT/REBT, DBT informed skills, strengths based counseling, and practical problem solving to help you better understand your patterns and make meaningful changes in your daily life.
In our first session, I will focus on getting to know you, understanding what brings you to therapy, and learning what you would like to be different. I will ask about your current concerns, your history, your strengths, your support system, and your goals for treatment. My goal is for you to feel heard and respected while we begin developing a clear direction for our work together.
My greatest strength is helping you identify patterns that may be contributing to distress, conflict, avoidance, low self worth, or feeling stuck. I am compassionate and supportive, but I am also active and practical in session. I 'll help you connect insight with action so therapy does not stay only at the level of talking. My approach is collaborative, direct when needed, and focused on helping you build healthier coping skills, improve emotional regulation, strengthen your relationships, and make meaningful changes in your life.
You may appear composed and capable, but inside it can feel like your thoughts never stop. Maybe you are challenged with anxiety, depression, inadequate coping skills, questionable self esteem, or struggling with life transitions. Or maybe you analyze every decision, replay conversations, and hold yourself to a high standard, yet peace of mind feels just out of reach. Many of my clients come to therapy because they’re tired of overthinking, self-doubt, or feeling emotionally disconnected despite outward success. My goal is to help you understand the patterns driving this internal pressure while building and developing clarity and direction, a sense of confidence and sustainable change. Together, we’ll focus on clarity, self-acceptance, and finding relief that lasts beyond the next achievement.

I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have extensive experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help my clients understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and life stressors. My approach to CBT is practical, collaborative, and individualized. I will help you identify unhelpful thinking patterns, challenge cognitive distortions, develop healthier coping skills, and take steps toward meaningful behavioral change. I do not see CBT as simply “positive thinking.” Instead, I use it to help you examine whether your thoughts are rational or irrational, helpful, balanced, or getting in the way of the life you want to build. My goal is to help you leave therapy with tools you can actually use in daily life.
