About me

I believe people thrive when they feel genuinely heard and cared for, and that belief is at the heart of my practice. In our work together, we’ll explore challenging thoughts, feelings, and life experiences—including relationship dynamics, trauma, and stress—with compassion and clarity. I listen deeply, and collaboratively develop coping strategies that support healing, resilience, and meaningful growth. My goal is to create a non-judgmental space where you feel supported, understood, and empowered to thrive.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will be an opportunity to get to know each other and identify your needs and expectations for therapy. Together, we’ll explore your strengths, clarify your therapeutic goals, and discuss your vision of living a healthier, more fulfilling life—and how we can work together to help you get there.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My genuine, transparent, and calming nature helps build strong, trusting relationships with my clients. I truly care about the work we will do together, and remain committed to moving at your pace. I take great joy in supporting my clients’ progress and celebrating when they reach their goals.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I strive to make space for individuals who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, trauma, or complicated family and relationship dynamics, and who are looking for support in making sense of it all. Many of the clients I work with want to feel more grounded, confident, and connected to themselves. If you’re curious about your emotions, ready to explore what’s getting in the way, or hoping to build healthier ways of coping, I’m here to meet you where you are. I offer a supportive, down-to-earth space to help you grow, heal, and move toward the life you want.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have many years of experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand themselves and shift the patterns that contribute to stress, self-doubt, or emotional overwhelm. I’ve found CBT to be a powerful tool for uncovering the thoughts we often don’t even realize we’re carrying—especially the ones shaped by trauma, loss, or difficult relationships.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

In my practice, I use ACT to help clients build awareness of internal experiences—such as uncomfortable thoughts, emotions, or memories—and relate to them with greater openness and compassion rather than judgment or avoidance. Together, we explore how experiential avoidance or rigid thinking patterns may be contributing to distress, and we work toward developing acceptance skills, grounding techniques, and mindful observation of thoughts.

Humanistic

In my work, I tailor every session to the client’s individual needs, recognizing that healing is not a one-size-fits-all process. I focus on understanding each client’s lived experience, values, and internal strengths, helping them deepen their self-awareness and expand their capacity for self-compassion. By centering the therapeutic relationship and prioritizing the client’s personal goals, I support clients in exploring their emotions, developing insight, and fostering meaningful, self-driven growth.
