Hello and welcome to my page. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I have been practicing in the counseling field for over three years and can truly say, it has been a pleasure. I feel it is an honor to help clients through various issues such as relationship conflicts, self-esteem issues, depression, anxiety, etc. My fascination with the field began when I was merely ten years old, a time marked by the heart-wrenching aftermath of my parents' divorce, which left emotional scars that ignited my curiosity. Like many people, I have experienced loss and pain; however, with the right mindset and support, these challenges can be overcome!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our opening session, we'll engage in brief yet meaningful introductions, setting the stage for a deeper discussion about the unique challenges you are facing. This will enable us to craft a tailored, insightful plan that we can collaboratively explore in our subsequent sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having collaborated with a diverse range of clients, from spirited five-year-olds to wise 70-year-olds, I have deepened my understanding and appreciation for the unique intricacies of every stage of life. This extensive experience has empowered me to guide my clients through their challenges, equipping them with the effective tools they need to overcome obstacles and flourish.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am enthusiastic about partnering with clients who are grappling with life’s challenges and facing the weight of anxiety and depression. My goal is to provide compassionate professional support, helping them discover effective and healthy coping strategies to navigate their struggles and foster resilience.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a structured, time-limited psychotherapy that has been shown to effectively help individuals with a wide range of psychological issues. CBT helps individuals become aware of their thoughts and how those thoughts affect their feelings and behaviors. By identifying negative thought patterns, individuals can learn to challenge and reframe them. CBT equips individuals with practical skills to manage and cope with stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues. These skills include problem-solving, emotion regulation, and relaxation techniques.

Grief Therapy

Grief therapy can play a crucial role in helping individuals navigate the profound and complex emotions associated with loss. Therapy can help individuals understand that their feelings are a normal part of the grieving process. Grief can involve a wide range of emotions, including sadness, anger, guilt, and confusion. Learning about these stages can normalize the experience and reduce feelings of being overwhelmed. Loss often necessitates significant changes in daily life. Grief therapy can assist individuals in adapting to these changes and finding new routines or ways of living.
