Hello, I’m Cristina—a licensed professional counselor who helps Millennials and Gen Z stop arguing with their inner hater, overthinking every text, outfit, and facial expression, and feeling like they need to have life figured out by Tuesday. If you’re tired of feeling like you’re not good enough—whether as a parent, co-worker, partner, or just a human being—you’re in the right place. I’m here to help you unlearn the patterns that once helped you survive, reconnect with who you actually are, and start enjoying the phase you’re in. It can be scary to start therapy! The hardest part is to reach out, but you are a step closer by looking into your options.
First sessions can feel a little awkward — kind of like a first date, but with less pressure and more emotional honesty (and I promise I won’t judge your life choices). We’ll talk about what’s been going on, what you’re hoping to get out of therapy, and any questions you have. You don’t need to have the “perfect way” to explain things — just come as you are. My job is to help you feel heard, supported, and maybe even a little less overwhelmed. By the end, we’ll see if we’re a good fit and talk about next steps. No scary couches or clipboards — just real conversation.
I blend evidence-based approaches like CBT, mindfulness, person-centered, and solution-focused therapy to tailor treatment that fits you — no cookie-cutter solutions here. My style is warm, authentic, and open-minded, creating a space where you feel comfortable being yourself without judgment.
I help Gen Z and Millennials who feel anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck — even if they seem like they’re holding it together on the outside. My clients are often deep thinkers, overachievers, or sensitive souls who are tired of just “pushing through” and ready to feel more grounded, connected, and in control. You don’t need to be in crisis to start therapy — just open to exploring what’s going on beneath the surface and curious about creating real change.
I use CBT to help clients improve their mood when it is being affected by depression, anxiety, and other stressors. I focus on clients' thought patterns, moods, and behaviors in order to challenge them and make changes.
I believe using a person-centered approach is important, as it allows the client to feel safe in a therapeutic environment and openly express their emotions as they know they would not be judged.
One important factor in helping clients succeed and meet their goals is to be given the right tools by providing psychoeducation on different techniques that can be used for every day stressors, overthinking, negative thoughts, work-life balance, among other things.
