I help women navigate relationship challenges, heal from past experiences, and reconnect with their bodies, sexuality, and sense of self. My work focuses on sexual shame, intimacy, attachment wounds, boundaries, and reclaiming pleasure. As a therapist, sexologist, and educator, I take a warm, collaborative approach that integrates somatic practices, parts work, and attachment-based therapy. I provide a supportive, judgment-free space where you can explore your experiences, understand your patterns, and feel more comfortable showing up as your authentic self.

Helping individuals and couples heal from emotional and sexual wounds, deepen intimacy, and reconnect with themselves and each other.

Whether you’re healing from relational or sexual trauma, struggling in your relationships, or wanting to feel more connected to your sexuality, we’ll work together to help you build self-trust, strengthen your relationships, and create a life that feels more fulfilling and aligned with who you are.

First session

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation of trust and understanding. We'll explore what brings you to therapy, the challenges you're experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I'll also take time to learn about your personal history, relationships, and experiences that may be influencing your current concerns. You don't have to share everything at once or have all the answers. We'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to participate in your healing process. Together, we'll begin identifying your needs, establishing meaningful goals, and exploring a therapeutic approach that honors your unique experiences.

Strengths

My approach goes beyond managing symptoms to explore how your experiences, relationships, and life experiences shape the way you see yourself and connect with others. I integrate traditional therapeutic approaches with somatic practices and sex therapy to help you understand your patterns, reconnect with your body, and feel more empowered in your choices. I create a warm, judgment-free space where you can explore topics that may feel difficult to discuss elsewhere, including sexuality, intimacy, pleasure, and relational challenges. I believe healing is not just about working through what hurts; it’s also about discovering what feels good, building self-trust, and creating relationships and a life that feel authentic to you.

Ideal clients

My ideal client is an adult individual or couple seeking to deepen their understanding of themselves, heal unresolved emotional and relational wounds, and develop healthier connections with their bodies, sexuality, and relationships. I particularly enjoy working with individuals navigating sexual trauma, intimacy challenges, attachment wounds, sexual shame, and difficulties with vulnerability, boundaries, and emotional connection. Many of my clients are high-functioning individuals who have learned to prioritize the needs and expectations of others while struggling to recognize or express their own emotional, relational, and sexual needs. They may experience disconnection from their bodies, challenges with desire and pleasure, or difficulty developing a sense of safety and authenticity in intimate relationships. I am especially passionate about supporting BIPOC women whose experiences with sexuality, identity, and relationships have been shaped by cultural expectations, family dynamics, religious conditioning, and societal messages. My ideal client is someone who is open to self-exploration, willing to engage in the therapeutic process, and interested in healing that extends beyond symptom reduction toward greater self-awareness, emotional freedom, embodied connection, and personal agency.

Ongoing work together

Our ongoing work together will be a collaborative process focused on understanding the patterns, experiences, and beliefs that may be keeping you feeling stuck or disconnected. Depending on your needs, we may explore past experiences, attachment patterns, emotional responses, relationships, and the connection between your mind and body. I incorporate a variety of therapeutic approaches to help you develop greater self-awareness, process unresolved experiences, and build healthier ways of relating to yourself and others. Progress looks different for everyone. You may begin to notice that you're responding to situations with greater awareness, setting boundaries with more confidence, feeling more connected to your body, or experiencing healthier emotional and intimate relationships. We'll regularly reflect on your growth, revisit your goals, and adjust our work as needed. My hope is that you not only gain insight into your experiences but also begin to experience meaningful changes in how you feel, relate, and move through your everyday life.

Treatment methods

Attachment-based

I use attachment-based therapy to help clients explore how early relationships, childhood experiences, and unmet emotional needs influence their current emotional functioning, relationships, and sense of self. My work focuses on identifying attachment patterns, understanding relational wounds, and exploring how these experiences contribute to difficulties with trust, vulnerability, intimacy, boundaries, and emotional connection. I incorporate inner child work, emotional processing, and somatic awareness to help clients develop healthier relationships with themselves and others. My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and tailored to each client's unique experiences and needs.

Sex Therapy

I use sex therapy to help individuals and couples explore concerns related to sexuality, intimacy, sexual functioning, desire, and relational connection. My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and sex-positive, recognizing how past experiences, attachment patterns, cultural and religious beliefs, and internalized sexual shame can influence sexual well-being. I incorporate psychoeducation, cognitive and emotional processing, somatic awareness, and communication strategies to help clients develop healthier relationships with their bodies, sexuality, and intimate partners. I also support survivors of sexual trauma in rebuilding a sense of safety, autonomy, and agency while exploring intimacy, pleasure, and sexual self-expression at their own pace.

Somatic

I incorporate somatic therapy techniques to help clients develop a deeper awareness of the connection between their bodies, emotions, and lived experiences. My approach focuses on helping clients recognize how trauma, stress, and unresolved emotional experiences may manifest through physical sensations, nervous system responses, and patterns of disconnection from the body. I integrate grounding techniques, breathwork, mindfulness, sensory awareness, and gentle body-based interventions to support emotional regulation, embodied safety, and self-awareness. I also help clients explore how bodily responses influence intimacy, vulnerability, boundaries, and sexual well-being. My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and paced according to each client's comfort, readiness, and sense of autonomy.
