Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counsellor (LPC) based in Texas. I received my Masters from the University of North Texas; I have been practicing for 7 years and have 14 years experience in various roles within the mental health field. I work well with men’s issues as well as adults and teens struggling with life transitions, confidence, interpersonal conflict, and codependency.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, we will address any upfront questions or concerns, then discuss the current struggles as well as brief background information. We will define goals and develop a structured treatment plan to guide our sessions going forward.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I pride myself on being authentic and honest; I find the most valuable factor for success in therapy is a respectful, trusting relationship between client and therapist. By utilizing an eclectic approach of integrating therapy modalities as needed allows for the client to receive feedback and practice newly acquired tools in viable and effective ways.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I operate from an eclectic, individualized approach grounded in a person-centered therapy and supplemented with other modalities as is applicable. I believe every client has the potential for positive change. I highly value the client-therapist connection and strive to cultivate an open, trusting space so every client feels comfortable and able to speak freely.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral therapy is an organic supplement to my person-centered approach allowing clients to recognize their inner dialogue, associated feelings and behaviors as well as how these three viatoankee affect one another. We work through incongruity in order to develop healthier, more authentic thoughts, feelings and behaviors.
