Welcome to therapy! My name is Lillian, and I am Licensed Clinical Social worker in Texas. I have been working in the mental health field for about 5 years. I am excited that you have decided to take this step to reach your desired growth/achievement. Our sessions will be focused on your journey to possibilities and transformations; together we will work as a team to achieve these goals; celebrate one new step, one new milestone, and continuous progress.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session together, will be mainly introductory and exploring the specific challenges you are facing, including identifying some goals that will help us to create a tailored plan for your follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Some of my greatest strengths as a provider are, I am a great listener, I am empathetic and patient. Based on my years of experience, I have been able to utilize these strengths to create tailored plans for clients that leads to measurable progress.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

My experience over the years includes working with young children, adolescents and young adults, through different phases of life - work/school/life. I have discovered that most people are eager to improve, but sometimes feel stuck, overwhelmed and/or anxious; however, together we can unpack these emotions, and learn new ways to cope with and manage these emotions.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT in my practice for the past five years. This treatment method has helped dozens of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. Together, we will use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Using this approach, we will work on regulating and managing your emotions.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Using this approach, we will work on staying focused on the present moment and accept thoughts and feelings without judgment or guilt.
