LCSW, 7 years of experience
New to Grow
I am a psychotherapist and forensic psychologist with seven years of clinical experience and a strong foundation in clinical social work. My practice is grounded in trauma-informed, evidence-based, and culturally responsive approaches that support healing across diverse groups. I provide psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults, helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, behavioral concerns, and major life transitions. I also have extensive experience working with justice-involved youth and adults, offering structured, compassionate, and holistic care to support stabilization, growth, and long-term wellness.
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and begin building a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship. I’ll ask questions to understand what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and what you hope to achieve. We’ll explore your history, strengths, and any patterns that may be impacting your emotional well-being. This session also gives you space to share at your own pace, ask questions, and get a feel for my therapeutic style. Together, we’ll identify initial goals and create a plan that feels supportive, realistic, and aligned with your needs. My priority is to ensure you feel heard, respected, and empowered from the very beginning.
My greatest strengths lie in my ability to create an empathetic, authentic, and culturally aware therapeutic space where clients feel seen and understood. I draw from a diverse educational background—with degrees in mental health, clinical social work, and forensic psychology—which allows me to understand clients through a holistic, multidimensional lens. What stands out about my approach is the way I integrate evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT) to meet clients exactly where they are. I tailor treatment to each person’s unique needs, combining structure with warmth, professionalism with realness, and clinical expertise with genuine compassion. My goal is to help clients feel empowered, supported, and equipped with practical tools for long-term emotional wellness and meaningful change.
My ideal clients are children, adolescents, and adults who are seeking meaningful change and are open to engaging in a collaborative therapeutic process. I work best with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral or emotional dysregulation, and family or relationship conflict. I am especially drawn to working with justice-involved youth and adults, as well as clients from culturally diverse backgrounds who value a therapist who understands the impact of environment, identity, and lived experience on mental health. My ideal clients are those who are ready to explore their strengths, develop healthier coping strategies, and work toward greater stability, resilience, and overall emotional wellness.
