Hi! My name is Cassandra. I am a Las Vegas native and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who is passionate about helping people better understand themselves and their relationships. I work with individuals navigating life transitions, identity development, relationship challenges, and self-esteem struggles. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens when people feel safe enough to explore their experiences honestly. I draw from attachment-based therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and experiential approaches to help clients understand patterns in their relationships and emotional responses. Together, we explore how past experiences may influence the present and develop healthier ways of connecting with yourself and others. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my two dogs, Finn and Ollie, who keep life entertaining and remind me daily about the importance of play, rest, and unconditional connection. I also have the most wonderful friends that I enjoy going to antique shops with and going on long drives to have long talks and listen to music. Being a Vegas native has also given me a deep appreciation for the diverse community here, and I’m grateful to support individuals from many different backgrounds. My goal in therapy is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to grow into a more confident and grounded version of yourself.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable and collaborative therapeutic relationship. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope might change or improve in your life. I’ll ask some questions about your background, relationships, and current stressors so I can better understand the context of what you’re going through. You’re always welcome to share at your own pace, and there’s no expectation to have everything figured out right away. By the end of the session, we’ll begin identifying possible goals for therapy and discuss how we might work together moving forward. My aim is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of how therapy can help.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to create a space where clients feel genuinely understood and emotionally safe. I approach therapy with curiosity, compassion, and a deep respect for each client’s individual experiences and story. I’m skilled at helping clients recognize patterns in their relationships and emotional responses that may not have been fully visible before. Using attachment-based and experiential approaches, I help clients move beyond simply talking about problems and toward actually processing emotions and creating meaningful change. Clients often tell me they appreciate my balance of warmth, insight, and honesty. I strive to meet people where they are while gently challenging them to grow in ways that feel empowering rather than overwhelming.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

The clients I work best with are those who are curious about themselves and open to exploring their emotional patterns, even if they don’t yet have all the answers. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck in repeating relationship dynamics, struggling with self-esteem, navigating major life transitions, or trying to make sense of their identity and place in the world. I particularly enjoy working with young adults, adolescents, and individuals navigating LGBTQ+ identity, women’s issues, relationship challenges, and personal growth. Many of my clients are thoughtful, self-aware people who may appear to be functioning well on the outside but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain internally. If you’re someone who wants to better understand your emotions, build healthier relationships, and create meaningful change in your life, therapy can be a powerful space for that work.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

Attachment-based therapy focuses on how early relationships shape the way clients experience connection, trust, and emotional safety in adulthood. In practice, I help clients explore patterns in their relationships, identify attachment wounds, and develop healthier ways of connecting with others. Through building a secure therapeutic relationship, we work toward increasing emotional regulation, communication skills, and relational security.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

EFT is grounded in the idea that emotions are central to identity and connection. I use EFT to help individuals and couples identify underlying emotions beneath reactive patterns, soften defenses, and create more secure bonds. In sessions, we slow down interactions, highlight attachment needs, and restructure negative cycles into healthier, more responsive communication patterns.

Eclectic

As an eclectic therapist, I draw from multiple evidence-based modalities to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs. Rather than applying a single framework rigidly, I integrate attachment, emotional, cognitive, and experiential interventions to create a flexible and individualized plan. This allows me to meet clients where they are and adjust strategies as therapy evolves. As an eclectic therapist, I draw from multiple evidence-based modalities to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs. Experiential Therapy

Experiential therapy emphasizes present-moment awareness and emotional processing rather than just intellectual insight. I incorporate experiential techniques—such as guided imagery, role-play, or somatic awareness—to help clients access and process emotions that may be difficult to articulate. This approach allows clients to move beyond understanding their struggles cognitively and begin to feel and integrate meaningful change.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS views the mind as made up of distinct “parts,” each with its own role, often developed to protect us from pain. I guide clients in identifying and understanding their protective parts, wounded parts, and core Self. By fostering curiosity and compassion toward all parts, clients learn to reduce internal conflict, heal past wounds, and respond to life from a more centered and grounded place.
