Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my goal is to get to know you—what brings you to therapy, what you're hoping to work on, and what matters most to you. We’ll explore your current challenges, personal history, and any goals you may already have in mind. I take a, collaborative approach, so you’ll never be pressured to share more than you’re comfortable with. Think of it as a conversation where you can begin telling your story at your own pace. This session also gives you a chance to get a feel for how I work and ask any questions you may have about the therapy process. I’ll explain my approach and how I believe we can work together to support your growth and well-being. My intention is to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and judgment-free—where you can begin to feel seen, heard, and empowered. Most importantly, this is your space, and we'll go at a pace that feels right for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Most of my clients state that I am approachable, warm, understanding, open minded and professional.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with individuals as well as couples. Many of my clients are young working professionals just starting out and building their careers. Others are working through life stages and changes such as becoming new parents, retiring or the death of a spouse. I have a full time job in which I work as a first responder. I find that many first responders do not have someone to talk to about the stressors and trauma they see on the job. I like working with couples to strengthen their marriages and in some cases help them avoid divorce. All in All people are people, I enjoy helping them reach their full potential and become self-actualized.

My treatment methods

Humanistic

Humanistic therapy adopts a holistic approach that focuses on free will. human potential, and self-discovery. It aims to help you develop a strong and healthy sense of self, explore your feeloings , find meaning, and focus on your strengths and to develop empathy. Humanistic psychology believes that people are inherently good and are motivated to reach their full potential through self-actualization.

Eclectic

This type of therapy is a flexible approach to psychotherapy that combines techniques and concepts from various therapeutic frameworks to tailor treatment to a client or couple's needs. It is not rigid, but rather a toolkit of techniques drawn from different therapeutic models like CBT, DBT and others.
