I earned my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from West Chester University and find fulfillment and enjoyment in working with college students and other adults seeking to improve areas of their lives. I have earned a certification in DBT but also utilize CBT, Mindfulness, ACT, and strengths-based modalities. When I am not with clients, I am reading, riding my bike, and hanging with my dog. I love setting goals each year for how many books I will read as well as mini reading goals each month. I love the sunshine and try to be outside as much as I can when weather permits.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is you getting to know me and my style as much as it is me getting to know you! We will talk about what has led you to therapy and have a casual conversation about goals and answer any questions that you may have. There are no expectations for the first session other than chatting a bit and getting to know each other.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I take a collaborative approach to treatment and am committed to using a strengths-based perspective to support my clients in building the skills that will help them achieve their goals. I have a laid back, but direct, validating, and supportive style in session. I utilize humor, sarcasm, and bluntness with my clients. My primary therapeutic modalities include mindfulness, CBT, DBT, and behavioral interventions. It is important that a client feel comfortable being open and honest with their therapist. A supportive and inviting environment that fosters two-way communication ensures that clients feel comfortable offering their clinician feedback to advocate for their needs.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My focus is on working with clients who experience depression, anxiety, life stress/transitions, executive functioning challenges, emotional dysregulation, or self-harm. I specialize in building rapport with recent graduates, college students, young adults and adults approaching midlife as we work through stressor/adjustments in life.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I am certified in DBT & utilize this in almost every session, either formally or informally. It focuses on skill-building in everyday life.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I focus on how our thoughts can impact our feelings and behaviors, and some ways to change our patterns.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness is an integral part of being aware of how you are feeling and what factors are impacting your emotional state. In order to make any changes, mindfulness is key.
