New to Grow
As a licensed marriage and family therapist specializing in trauma-informed, client-centered approaches, I am dedicated to helping you navigate life's challenges, stressors, and mental health needs. My extensive experience includes working with individuals facing various concerns such as life transitions, work-life balance, grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other challenges. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling and Marriage & Family Therapy from CSUSB, and I have pursued numerous trainings, workshops, and seminars to enhance my skills across a wide range of client-focused practices and mental health areas. With a strong foundation in trauma-informed practices, I incorporate diverse therapeutic modalities to create a supportive, understanding, and caring environment. My goal is to focus on your unique concerns and needs by helping you gain knowledge, insights, and skills to improve your quality of life and reduce distress.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
During the initial intake session, I discuss all of the legal and ethically required information, consents, office policies, and your needs and concerns. I also provide information on my background and treatment approaches. After that, an assessment is completed and we begin to collaborate on creating your treatment goals and needs.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I take time working with Client's at their pace and focus on their concerns and desires. I have spent the majority of my career helping Client's heal from life's traumas and challenges. I base my successes on how well my Client's have made progress and when they are ready, the therapeutic episode ends by mutual agreement. Many of my Client recommend me to their friends and family based on the changes they have made during our work together.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I prioritize building trust by listening attentively to your goals, experiences, and desires, working collaboratively to reduce your mental health concerns and enhance your overall well-being. I work with children, teens, young adults, mid-life adults, and senior populations. I provide individual, couples and family therapy in office and on-line when appropriate.
