About me

I believe in meeting clients where they are, offering a safe, compassionate space to explore the challenges they face. As a trauma-informed counselor, I draw from an eclectic blend of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Christian counseling, depending on your unique needs and preferences. Together, we will sift through your experiences, gain insight, and develop practical tools that support healing and growth.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and at ease. The initial appointment is a chance for us to get to know each other—I'll ask questions about your background, current concerns, and what you're hoping to get out of counseling. There’s no pressure to share everything all at once; we’ll move at your pace. This time is also for you to ask any questions you may have about the therapy process. Together, we’ll begin to map out a direction for our work that feels supportive and aligned with your goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I was drawn to trauma counseling through witnessing the incredible resiliency of the human spirit. Time and again, I saw how even in the aftermath of deep pain, people could heal and grow when met with genuine empathy and compassion. I became deeply inspired by the science showing that a safe, attuned relationship doesn’t just support emotional healing—it can actually reshape the brain. That understanding continues to fuel my commitment to creating a therapeutic space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered on their path to recovery.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My work primarily focuses on adolescents and adults navigating issues such as trauma, relationship challenges, grief and loss, depression, and anxiety.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

I incorporate attachment-based therapy to help clients explore how early relationships have shaped their patterns of connection, trust, and self-worth. Together, we work to create new, healthier ways of relating — both to themselves and others — by building safety, understanding, and secure emotional bonds in the therapeutic space.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress and self-defeating behaviors. Together, we build practical coping skills and develop more balanced ways of thinking, empowering clients to respond to life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence.

Christian Counseling

For clients who wish to incorporate their faith into the healing process, I offer Christian counseling that integrates spiritual beliefs with evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Together, we explore how faith can be a source of strength, hope, and guidance while addressing emotional challenges and fostering growth and healing.
