Clinical experiences include working with age groups across the life span for over 27 years. Building rapport and joining with the client to collaboratively problem-solve and address symptoms for best outcomes is central to treatment approach. Clients feeling comfortable with clinician and therapy process is of the utmost importance. Presenting symptoms or concerns shared by the client direct clinician approach.
Clients can expect for the first appointment that initial forms they completed have been reviewed by clinician. Clients typically are provided with basic information about confidentiality, mandated reporting considerations and initial therapy steps. Clients are encouraged to ask questions and to share how they are feeling about meeting with a provider for the first time. Clinician often asks questions to attempt to learn more about client's symptoms, treatment history and treatment goals.
My focus is on the client. The approaches used within treatment are based on the client's expressed goals, strengths and challenges.
Open to seeing any clients who are interested in treatment.
