As a holistic practitioner with over 20 years of experience working with people of color, specializing in anxiety, depression, infertility, and trauma, my approach involves a comprehensive and integrative view of health and well-being. Trauma Informed Care

I aim to prioritize empowerment, choice, and cultural sensitivity, while fostering a sense of resilience and healing in those they serve. By adopting a trauma-informed approach, I am able to better support individuals in their journey towards recovery and well-being.

Couples Counseling

Through a combination of therapeutic techniques, communication strategies, and conflict resolution skills, I assist couples in identifying and addressing issues that may be causing distress or discord in their relationship. I work to create a safe and non-judgmental space for partners to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, with the ultimate goal of enhancing understanding, connection, and intimacy within the relationship. Through utilizing mind-body approaches I work to integrate the connection between mental, emotional, and physical well-being into my practice. By incorporating techniques that address the interplay between thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations, I am able to help individuals enhance their overall health and quality of life. Mind-body approaches may include practices such as mindfulness, meditation, yoga, guided imagery, and relaxation techniques to promote self-awareness, stress reduction, and emotional regulation. This holistic approach aims to support individuals in achieving balance, resilience, and a sense of empowerment by nurturing the mind-body connection and fostering healing from within.
