New to Grow
I’m a warm, supportive therapist who works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, life transitions, and relationship concerns. I help clients better understand what they’re experiencing, build practical coping skills, improve communication, and create healthier patterns in their lives. My approach is collaborative and grounded, and I strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable, supported, and able to move toward meaningful change.
In our first session, we will spend time getting to know what brings you to therapy, what you have been experiencing, and what you hope to gain from the process. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, background, and any important experiences that may be affecting your well-being. My goal is to create a supportive, comfortable space where you feel heard, understood, and not pressured to share more than you are ready to. We’ll also begin identifying goals and discussing how we can work together in a way that feels helpful to you.
My greatest strengths are creating a warm, supportive space while also helping clients make practical, meaningful changes. My experience providing therapy and supporting adults through anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, and major life transitions allows me to help clients better understand what is contributing to their distress and what patterns may be keeping them stuck. I am especially skilled at helping clients build coping skills, improve communication, increase self-awareness, and develop healthier ways of responding to difficult emotions and situations.
I am best positioned to serve adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, burnout, life transitions, and relationship concerns. I work well with clients who may be feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, stuck, or uncertain about how to move forward in an important area of life. I support clients in understanding what is contributing to their distress, identifying patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and building practical tools to cope more effectively. My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative, and I aim to help clients feel understood while also working toward meaningful change.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as one of the core approaches in my practice because it helps clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I often find CBT especially helpful for clients struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, and adjustment concerns. In my work, I use CBT to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, challenge beliefs that may be contributing to distress, and develop healthier, more balanced ways of thinking. My approach to CBT is practical, collaborative, and tailored to the client’s needs. I help clients build awareness of automatic thoughts, recognize thinking distortions, and learn coping strategies they can use in everyday life. I aim to make CBT feel approachable and useful, so clients not only gain insight but also leave with tools they can apply outside of session.
