New to Grow
I grew up near the Jersey Shore, where I first learned the value of finding peace and balance in nature. The beach remains my favorite place to recharge and reflect. As a licensed therapist, my goal is to help others discover their own sense of peace, joy, and resilience. I believe that sometimes we simply need a compassionate ear or a trusted guide to walk alongside us through life’s challenges. It is a privilege to support clients on their journey toward healing, growth, and greater self-understanding.
In our first session, you can expect an intake where we spend time getting to know each other. I’ll ask some basic questions, and perhaps a few that are a bit more in-depth—but don’t worry, you don’t have to share anything too personal right away. This is simply a way for me to begin understanding you, and just as importantly, it’s an opportunity for you to get to know me.
My greatest strength as a therapist is the time and care I take to truly get to know you. I promise to listen with compassion and support you throughout your journey. I have had the privilege of working with children, families, couples, schools, infants, and adults. Each experience has taught me something valuable, and I continue to learn every day. I am never afraid to grow, to ask questions, or to seek new perspectives. If I don’t have an answer, I will never pretend—I will work alongside you to find the best path forward. I welcome feedback and remain open to learning new ways to provide the support each client deserves.
As a therapist, my ideal client is someone who is ready to take the journey toward creating a life filled with the peace and joy we all deserve. Because no two people are alike, I take the time to truly get to know you. Together, we will define your goals and work side by side to help you move toward the life you envision.
My therapy philosophy is based on an individual’s journey. In other words, I follow your lead. One approach I gravitate to is creative counseling. Creative counseling is a therapeutic approach used to support children, young people and adults who are experiencing difficulty with thoughts and emotions, negative patterns of behavior and repressed trauma by using a combination of creative tools along with talking therapy.
