Are you ready to begin your therapy journey? Therapy can consist of many terrains, some rough, some smooth, some high, some low. I am here to assist you in your process of uncovering your strengths, gaining control of your car (you) as you begin your journey of therapy. I enjoy utilizing an eclectic approach and pull from different perspectives to allow for greater opportunity to reach the root of your struggles.
Welcome, and I’m so glad you’ve decided to begin this journey. In the first session one of my goals is to help you feel as comfortable as possible. Always know, everything you share will stay between us, unless there’s a safety concern, in which case I’ll be transparent with you about what needs to happen next. The first session is often an opportunity for me to understand a bit more about why you’re seeking therapy. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, your background, and what led you to this point. This may involve discussing your personal history, relationships, work life, and any challenges or patterns you’re facing. It’s okay if some of this feels like a lot—there’s no rush to dive into everything all at once. We can go at your pace, and I’m here to listen and support you as you share. We’ll also spend some time talking about what you’re hoping to achieve from therapy. Whether you're looking for practical strategies to manage stress, emotional support through a difficult time, or deeper self-understanding, I want to help you clarify your goals. It’s completely fine if you’re unsure about what you want from therapy at first—we can explore that together as we move forward. Another main goal is to help you feel heard and understood. We’ll also discuss what the next steps could look like and decide on how often we’ll meet going forward. Remember, the first session is just the beginning of our work together, and there’s no expectation for you to have everything figured out right away. I want you to know that you’re in a safe and nonjudgmental space, and it’s perfectly okay to take your time as we begin to explore what’s on your mind. I’m looking forward to working with you, and I’m here to help every step of the way.

Tinsley is a great therapist for me, she makes me feel very heard and seen, she challenges me but also sees where I’m coming from. She is kind and gentle in her approach, but great at helping me set boundaries and stand up for myself in ways that I’ve really struggled in the past. She’s also very affirming in my growth and makes me feel validated in my feelings.

Mz. Lemon has a great ability to identify the most impactful strategies for me as an individual. Beyond her competency, she is also warm, genuine, and relatable. Her exceptional skills and delivery help me immensely to consider new ideas and strategies throughout the day outside of therapy, integrating our work with my everyday life as well as my personal and professional goals.
