Hi, I'm a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a deep commitment to helping individuals navigate their mental health journey. I work with clients facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, and other mood disorders creating personalized treatment plans that often combine medication management with supportive therapy. My goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to take control of your mental well-being. Together, we’ll work toward building stability, clarity, and confidence in your daily life.
In your first session with me, you can expect a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where we’ll begin by getting to know each other. I’ll ask questions about your current challenges, your history, and what’s brought you to seek support now. We’ll explore what’s been working, what hasn’t, and what your goals are for therapy or medication management. This session is all about creating a safe foundation there’s no pressure to share everything at once. My priority is to understand your story and make sure you feel heard, respected, and empowered as we begin this journey together.
One of my greatest strengths as a provider is my ability to create a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly seen and heard. I bring a deep sense of empathy, active listening, and cultural sensitivity into every session. I'm also thorough and intentional in tailoring treatment plans to each individual’s unique needs whether that’s through thoughtful medication management, collaborative goal-setting, or integrating therapeutic techniques like CBT. My clients often share that they feel supported, respected, and more in control of their mental health journey when working with me.
I’m best positioned to serve clients who are ready to take that courageous step toward healing, even if they’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain. My ideal client is someone who may be struggling with ADHD, anxiety, trauma, or mood instability someone who knows deep down that life can feel better but just needs the right support to get there. Whether you're a busy parent juggling everything, a young adult navigating identity and purpose, or someone who's been quietly carrying emotional pain for years, I’m here to walk alongside you. You don’t need to have it all figured out just a willingness to show up for yourself. That’s where real change begins.
I have extensive experience utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a foundational treatment approach for a range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and ADHD. CBT is evidence-based and highly structured, which allows for measurable progress and active patient participation. In my practice, I incorporate CBT by helping patients identify and challenge distorted or unhelpful thought patterns, and replace them with more balanced, realistic ones. I also focus on behavior modification through goal-setting, skill-building, and exposure strategies when appropriate. Each treatment plan is individualized, taking into account the patient’s diagnosis, goals, and readiness for change. CBT is especially useful for patients who benefit from a practical, problem-focused approach. I often integrate it with psychoeducation, mindfulness techniques, and homework assignments to reinforce new thinking and behavior patterns between sessions. I find that patients feel more empowered when they can connect their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and begin to actively shift their mindset and coping strategies.
