I provide an eclectic approach utilizing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused, Crisis Intervention, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative, and Solutional Focused Therapies.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will focus on introductions to learn about each other. I will gather information from you about your personal history and what has worked for you and what has not. Together we will identify your treatment goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am authentic and empathetic. I will actively listen, provide empathy, and create a safe space without judgement. I have experience connecting with people from all walks of life and am comfortable supporting individuals through a wide variety of life experiences.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My goal is to create a safe space to help you understand your feelings, thoughts, and behaviors; and help you find what works best for you in this chapter of your life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT helps challenge recurring negative thoughts and manage their anxiety. We will use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors interact with one another. CBT is a great way of "retraining your brain" to be able to handle every day stressors and more.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT teaches skills to manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and cope with distress by balancing acceptance and change. We will use DBT techniques such as mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness to help with symptoms of depression, anxiety, PTSD, and self harm.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational Interviewing focuses on open ended questions, affirmations, reflective listening, and summarization to help you see the gap between your current behavior and your goals. With Motivational Interviewing, we will strengthen your own motivation and commitment by resolving ambivalence for you to make your life changes.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

SFBT focuses on building solutions and future hopes rather than dwelling on problems or past causes, helping you achieve your goals quickly by identifying your strengths and creating practical steps toward your preferred future. Together, we will work on solutions rather than on the problems that brought you to therapy.

Grief Therapy

Grief Therapy helps you cope with your loss. We will learn and develop techniques to help manage your intense emotions, process your loss, and regain daily function.
