LPC, 8 years of experience
Are you struggling to adjust to a major life transition? Changes in relationship, life stage, parenthood, career, education, or moving can make life so overwhelming that you can't focus on what you truly need and want. It is not uncommon for past trauma to resurface during times of stress and uncertainty. As a counselor, art therapist, and integrative nutrition health coach, I offer a holistic perspective to work toward overall wellness. In addition to talk therapy, art making may help you process complex emotions and experiences. We can also work together to upgrade your food and lifestyle choices to feel better inside and out.
During our first session, you will have an opportunity to begin exploring what brings you to therapy and what you are seeking from the experience. I will answer any questions you may have about my approach to be sure we are a good fit to work together.
I thrive in helping my clients through major life transitions such as becoming a parent, adjusting to life after college, and learning to balance a busy career with other aspects of life. I also enjoy working with other helping professionals by supporting them to prioritize taking care of themselves.
My clients are highly motivated, creative, and insightful individuals ready to break old patterns, shift their mindsets, and live more authentically. I often support other helping professionals, career changers, and young adults.
I draw from several holistic, creative, person-centered therapeutic techniques to best suit each individual client. These include Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Person-Centered Therapy, Strengths-Based Approach, and Holistic Health Coaching.
