New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting children, families, and adults navigating life’s challenges. My background includes in-home family work and outpatient treatment with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and co-occurring concerns. As the founder of Resurgence: Surviving to Thriving, I believe healing is possible even after seasons of chaos or overwhelm. My work focuses on helping adults regulate their nervous system, build sustainable coping strategies, and develop a stronger sense of clarity and self-trust. I provide a supportive, structured, and strengths-based space where clients can process life’s transitions, grief, stress, and emotional fatigue while moving toward meaningful and lasting change.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we will focus on understanding what brought you to therapy and identifying your goals for change. I will ask thoughtful questions to gain insight into your history, current stressors, and coping patterns while ensuring you feel heard and supported. You can expect a balanced approach, both compassionate listening and gentle structure. We will begin identifying practical tools you can use outside of sessions and clarify what progress could look like for you. My goal is for you to leave our first meeting with clarity, direction, and a sense of stability moving forward.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to create a structured yet compassionate space where clients feel both supported and accountable. I bring over a decade of experience working with individuals and families navigating complex life stressors, trauma, and co-occurring concerns. I am grounded, direct, and strengths-based in my approach. Clients often appreciate that I balance empathy with practical skill-building, helping them regulate their nervous system, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and build sustainable emotional habits. I am deeply committed to helping adults move from cycles of survival into clarity, resilience, and long-term growth.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work best with motivated adults who are ready to actively engage in their healing process. My ideal clients may be experiencing anxiety, stress, grief, life transitions, or high-functioning depression, but are seeking structure, accountability, and practical tools to move forward. Many of the adults I support are balancing demanding careers, parenting responsibilities, or personal growth while feeling overwhelmed or emotionally fatigued. They are ready to better understand their patterns, regulate their nervous system, and create healthier routines that feel sustainable. If you are self-aware, open to reflection, and willing to apply strategies outside of session, we can create meaningful change together.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients recognize unhelpful thought patterns, build coping skills, and create practical changes that support emotional balance.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I integrate solution-focused techniques to help clients identify goals, highlight strengths, and move toward meaningful change efficiently and intentionally.
Trauma Informed Care
My approach is trauma-informed, meaning I prioritize safety, empowerment, and understanding how past experiences may impact present emotions and behaviors.
Strength-Based
I believe in helping clients recognize their resilience and internal strengths as a foundation for growth and healing.
